MATCHDAY 15 REVIEW!!! Smaller Teams taking a stand!

Well, Matchday 15 was full of upsets and this was a week to remember, as this was a huge week for the Premier League as a whole. Without wasting any further time, let’s review the matches.

Leicester upset Man Utd!!

Leicester 2 Man Utd

Well, we told you that this week was filled with upsets and this was one of them. Everyone predicted Man Utd would win, even myself. But I was proven wrong when Leicester shocked Man Utd thanks to an own goal from Tuanbeze.before this, Man Utd were cruising thanks to goal contributions from Martial and Fernandes despite Maddinson’s wonderfully worked goal, but lack of concertation cost them.

Aston Villa still looking strong!

Aston Villa 3 Crystal Palace 0

Ever since Liverpool beat Crystal Palace, Palace never recoverd. Tonight was a perfect example. They never looked comfortable and were never in goal scoring form. Despite Mings red card, the host would feel pretty good as they continue to fight till top 8 at least. It was a good performance with Traore, Hause and Ghazi all scoring goals. It was an all round solid performance.

Finally! Arsenal have something to cheer about!

Arsenal 3 Chelsea 1

Well, Arsenal finally have something to cheer about! A huge victory… against Chelsea! Wait… Chelsea? Yes friends, Chelsea are slipping massively and nothing can save them now. Their form is horrible and that continues at the Etihad. Arsenal looked as though they left all their aggression on Chelsea! Arsenal showed no mercy as Lacazette scored from the spot, and Xhaka and Saka scored wonderful goals. Abraham’s late goal was only a consolation, and Jorginho’s penalty was missed, and clearly not at it’s best. Not the best performance from Chelsea but Arsenal will take it!

West Brom scalp a point against the Reigning Champions!

Liverpool 1 West Brom 1

Wow, It truly is a day for the underdogs, as West Brom scalp a point from Liverpool. Mane took an early lead for the hosts, as Liverpool continued to apply pressure. West Brom never looked comfortable but they got their equalizer as Ajayi scored in the 81st minute. However, there was no late winner as both sides draw a point a piece.

Tottenham never looked promising!

Tottenham 1 Wolves 1

Wow, a game which started with a goal in the first minute, was one of the oonly goals that were scored. Ndombele striked in the 1st minute with a beautiful strike into the bottom corner. Wolves, however, showed no fear and continued to fight. They finally got their equalizer as Saiss equalized in the 86th minute. And just like in the Liverpool game, there was no equalizer. A sorry performance from Tottenham.

That is all for this game! We will share the Points Table in a few momments. Hope you enjoyed our reviews on this week’s matchday. Till then, goodbye and take care.
