Well, we are in for one big matchup today as Leicester take on Man Utd. This is one of the bigger matchup of the week so I highly suggest you watch it till the end. This is going to be one hell of a contest, so without wasting any further time, let’s get into the preview.
For Leicester, it has been a mixed run of form. They have won 3 and lost 2. However, they did win over Tottenham, so that will give them some confidence. Leicester are a different team this season. Despite their mixed run of form, they are still a side to be reckoned with. Jamie Vardy will be fit, and he has been in the form of his life, scoring goals for fun, so that will be an extra bonus. However, Caglar Soyuncu is touch and go with a groin injury, although if he misses out on Saturday he is likely to be available for Monday’s trip to Crystal Palace. Ricardo Periera will also miss out after an groin injury, but nevertheless it is a very strong Leicester squad.
Man Utd have been in impenetrable form recently. In their last 5 games, they have won 4 and drew 1. They look unstoppable and their win over Everton solidified the fact that Man Utd are looking to come back after a poor last season.
Man Utd will check on the fitness of Scott McTominay and Aaron Wan-Bissaka ahead of the trip to the King Power Stadium. Midfielder McTominay also suffered a groin injury in United’s win over Leeds last weekend – in which he scored twice – while right-back Wan-Bissaka missed the midweek game at Everton with a knock. So, a few injuries, but if Man Utd continue their form, they are certain contenders for the Premier League title.
Head to Head
Leicester City: 1
Man Utd: 9
Lineups for both teams:
Leicester City: Schmeichel; Justin, Fofana, Evans, Castagne; Ndidi, Tielemans, Albrighton, Maddison; Barnes, Vardy.
Man Utd: De Gea, Bailly, Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw, Fred, McTominay, James, Bruno, Rashford, Martial.
For me, the winner is Man Utd. Their run of form in the Premier League is nothing short of excellent, and Leicester have a tough task ahead of them if they are to topple this Man Utd side. Leicester are good team, do not get me wrong, I just do not think they are good enough to beat Man Utd. I am predicting a solid win for the Red Devils. But let me know you prediction in the comments down below. Till then, goodbye and take care.
